Stay near the Sangam, where the Ganga and Yamuna meet
Prayagraj, earlier called Allahabad, stands at the Triveni Sangam — the meeting of the Ganga, the Yamuna and the unseen Saraswati. Families come for a dip at the Sangam, for the Magh Mela each winter, and to see a city full of history.
New homes are added every week. Search all of India in the meantime, or check back soon.

Triveni Sangam
Boats leave from the ghats to the point where the two rivers meet and their colours can be told apart. Early morning is the calmest time for a dip.
Magh Mela and the Kumbh
The Magh Mela is held on the river bank every January and February. The Kumbh Mela, held here every twelve years with an Ardh Kumbh in between, is among the largest gatherings on earth.
Anand Bhavan and Khusro Bagh
Anand Bhavan, the Nehru family home, is now a museum of the freedom movement. Khusro Bagh has Mughal-era tombs set in a large garden.
Good to know
Where should I stay for the Sangam?
Homes in Civil Lines, Daraganj and Jhunsi are convenient for the Sangam. During the Magh Mela, vehicles are stopped some distance from the river, so ask your host how far you will need to walk.
How do I reach Prayagraj?
Prayagraj Airport at Bamrauli has flights from several cities, and Prayagraj Junction is a major railway station on the Delhi–Howrah line. Varanasi is about 120 km away by road.
How do I avoid fake booking websites?
Book and pay only on Aangan Stay. Every host has verified their identity with Aadhaar and PAN, your payment is made on the platform by UPI or card, and you get a GST invoice. Never pay an advance to a personal phone number or a link sent on WhatsApp.
Are prices on Aangan Stay all-inclusive?
The nightly price you see already includes GST, and guests pay no service fee. If a host charges a one-time cleaning fee, it is shown before you pay — nothing is added at checkout.
